Under normal circumstances, when producing the precision shafts, it is done according to a established production flow. In general, the production flow of the precision shafts mainly includes nine links. The first step is to heat the material, and then straighten, followed by precision grinding, polishing, electroplating, final polishing, quality inspection of the standard, and then packaging, and finally leaving factory. Of course, in the actual production work, it may be combined with the actual situation to make appropriate adjustments.

So,what about the application of the precision shafts? What kind of role do them play?For now, the product is mainly used in the production of the piston rod in the cylinder and hydro-cylinder. And it is used to produce the conduit, guide rod and LM shaft of various plastics machinery, packaging machinery, printing machinery, textile machinery and conveying machinery. At present, we mainly choose 45 # high-quality carbon steel 40Cr steel to make the product. 


However, if the customer has special requirements, it can also be customized according to the actual situation of the user. In the production of precision shafts, it also needs to do the quenching and tempering treatment with the main standard which is between HB240 and 260. The thickness of hard chromium plating should be controlled within the range of 0.02 mm to 0.06 mm. The hardness of the chromium layer should be between 800 and 100 VPN


In addition, the straightness of the precision shafts should not be more than 0.08mm / m, and its ovality should keep within 0.01 mm.  At present, the specifications of the common precision shafts are mainly from 25mm to 200mm, and the length range is from 1,000 to 8000.
