Heat treatment process requirements for several commonly used materials for hydraulic piston rods

As we all know, the hydraulic piston rod is a widely used connecting component. Its common materials are mainly steels such as 45 steel, 40Cr, 2Cr13, etc., and these steels need to be processed, such as electroplating, heat treatment, etc. Get special features to meet certain needs. That is to say, heat treatment is required to obtain strength and surface hardness and resistance to corrosion, friction, fatigue and seizure.

 

In the process of heat treatment of 45-gauge steel hydraulic piston rod, the main process flow is: preliminary heat treatment - low temperature spheroidizing annealing - quenching - critical temperature quenching - high frequency quenching. The heat treatment process is mainly to change the steel structure and change the performance by heating, holding and cooling the steel in the solid state. After quenching, the surface hardness can reach 45 ~ 52HRC, so that the comprehensive mechanical properties such as high strength and toughness are obtained.

 

40Cr is also a commonly used material. During the heat treatment of the material hydraulic piston rod, the main process flow is: preliminary heat treatment - reducing the internal stress of the workpiece - quenching and tempering operation - workpiece quality inspection. Through proper tempering, the plasticity and toughness of the steel can be improved, and the strength, hardness, toughness and plasticity are properly matched to meet the performance requirements of the hydraulic piston rod.http://xhychromerod.com/
